Integrated Common Entrance Test for Admission into M.B.A and M.C.A Courses of all Universities in Andhra Pradesh and their Affiliated Colleges (being conducted on behalf of APSCHE)
NOTIFICATION Applications are invited for appearing at the Common Entrance Test for admission into M.B.A and M.C.A (full time/part time/evening/distance mode) at the following Universities in the state of Andhra Pradesh including their Affiliated colleges for the Academic year 2003-2004 to be conducted by Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati (As per G.O Ms. No 14 H.E Dept. dated 15-3-2003). 1. Andhra University 2. Dr. B R Ambedkar Open University 3. JNT University 4. Kakatiya University 5. Nagarjuna University (Including Center for Distance Education) 6. Osmania University 7. SK University 8. SV University 9. Sri Padmavathi Mahila Viswavidyalayam, Tirupati 10. NIT Warangal (for MCA Only) Eligibility for Appearance at the Common Entrance Test a. The Candidate should be Indian Nationals and should satisfy Local/Non Local status requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974 as amended up-to-date b. Admissions into any college depends on its recognition / Affiliation by the Statutory bodies c. Persons other than Indian Nationals shall satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned and d. A pass in Bachelor's Degree except BOL & BFA or appearing at the final year exams of Bachelor's Degree of Universities in Andhra Pradesh or any other University recognized as equivalent there to Merely qualifying in the Entrance Test does not entitle a candidate to be admitted into the MBA/MCA courses unless the candidate; a. Applies to the Authority Concerned in response to the admission notification and b. Satisfies all the eligibility conditions of admission stipulated by the authority concerned ICET 2003 Schedule Commencement of Sale of Application Forms: 31 March 2003 (Monday) Last Date for sale & receipt of Application Forms: 26 April 2003 (Saturday) by 5:00 PM Date and Time of ICET 2003: 28th May 2003 (10:00 AM to 12:30 PM) Sale of Applications Prescribed application for Entrance Test together with Instructions Booklet can be had in person on payment of Rs. 200/- in cash at all the Head Post Offices and all the Post Offices located in the University Campuses in the state of AP. Candidates outside AP (who can seek 50% MCA seats at Not, Warangal) can obtain the same by sending DD for Rs. 200/- on any Nationalized bank draft in favor of Secretary, APSCHE, Hyderabad payable at Hyderabad along with a self addressed stamped envelope size 30 x 25 cm to the Convener, ICET 2003 Submission of Application Forms: Duly filled-in Application forms (placed in the envelop supplied) may be submitted along with relevant documents by post (the candidates are advised to submit the applications in the Head Post Office by paying Rs. 30/- as service charges for the safe handling of ICR Summary Sheet), or in person so as to reach the Convener, ICET 2003, Andhra Bank (Upstairs), Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati 517 502, AP, India on or before 26-4-2003 upto 5:00 PM.
